CONFEDERATE STATUES

They fought for the right to secede from the United
States. They were right. They fought to defend slavery. They were wrong. Dealing with slavery is part of the
problem. Another part of the problem is
that you have to admit that the South had a right to secede from the United
States. It really wasn't about
preserving the Union. It really was
about slavery. Warriors who say that it
is dangerous for the United States of America to become smaller are wrong.
